Banning Recognizes Beggs Community for Tornado Recovery Efforts

OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Chris Banning, R-Bixby, recognized several Beggs community members and school employees for their efforts helping residents recover after tornado damage impacted the area earlier this year.
Banning said the response from the community reflected the best of Beggs during a difficult time.
“When storms hit, you find out pretty quickly what people are made of,” Banning said. “This community stepped up without hesitation to help their neighbors, support students and keep things moving during a difficult time. Their willingness to serve others made a real difference.”

“I am proud of this community,” Banning added. “These men and women rolled up their sleeves, showed up, and took care of one another. I am grateful for each of these individuals and their example of the Oklahoma standard.”
