PSO Awards Visionary Classroom Grants to 23 Oklahoma Public School Projects

TULSA, OK (May 9, 2025)Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), a unit of American Electric Power (AEP), announced today the recipients of its 2025 AEP Teacher Vision Grants. A total of 23 innovative public school classroom projects across Oklahoma have been selected to receive funding to enhance student learning in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), and energy education.

From launching a greenhouse project for 3rd graders at Oologah Upper Elementary to creating a hands-on weather lab at Ketchum Middle School, and racing drones at Bixby High School, this year’s grant recipients reflect the creativity and passion of Oklahoma educators.

In total, PSO awarded nearly $8,000 in classroom grants, with individual funding ranging from $100 to $500. The Teacher Vision Grant program is open to public school teachers serving Pre-K through 12th grade who work in areas served by PSO or communities with major AEP operations.
